At Saturday night dinner this week the gang celebrated Hanukkah with the 2nd annual Jewish Food a-go-go. It’s a pot luck affair with contributions from whoever is interested.

badgary and nomadicyndi brought macaroons.
Our friend Jenith made excellent donuts which we smeared with Nutella and/or raspberry jam.
My contributions were a beef brisket (recipe from Cooks Illustrated), Bulgar and Lentil Pilaf and roast root vegetables.
It was a lovely time of sharing food and friendship.
