I had curry on the mind for some reason so I asked Ted to make one this week. That allowed me to try something from the “Try this Sometime” list of desserts.
Potato, Pepper and Pea Curry
White Rice with Green Onions
Green Salad with Radishes, Chickpeas and Lemon Vinaigrette
There were 11 of us for dinner this week (7 adults; 4 child).
Ted made the curry. He used a recipe from “Great Curries of India” as a basis for the sauce and did his own bit of culinary magic on it.
I haven’t found a source for paneer so I used queso de freir for the pan-fried cheese. Just cube it up, heat little oil in a non-stick pan and cook for about a minute on each side until golden brown. So tasty.
Folks really enjoyed the chocolate pretzel bars. They had a good combination of sweet and salty.
