Saturday night – 01/18/2014

Our local winter farmer’s market is open and we found some great salad greens plus red and yellow beets. Honestly, it was the centerpiece of the meal. The rest was just to fill our stomachs. 🙂

There were 9 of us for dinner this week (6 adults and 3 children). We consumed 1.5#s of pasta.

The meatballs were a bit bland. Next time I’ll have to fry up a test meatball before forming all of them to check for seasoning. It gave us an excuse to use extra grana padano cheese.
