Saturday night – 02/08/2014

These week’s menu brought to you by the letter V, whose birthday we celebrate today.

Baked kielbasa with barbeque sauce
Potato & Cheddar Pierogies with caramelized onions and sour cream
Roasted Beets
Homemade bread from my husband

Cake, the purple birthday kind

There were 11 folks for dinner (7 adults; 4 kids).

There was a bit of a pile up at the ovens this afternoon with no room for the beets when they should have started cooking. At least they peeled relatively easily.
