Saturday night – 04/05/2014

Just filling in a missing Saturday Night.

Penne pasta with Slow-Cooker Tomato Sauce
Grilled Sweet Italian Sausages
Roasted Asparagus
Green Salad with radishes, Fuji apples, shredded carrots and vinaigrette
Homemade rolls

Pies – one blueberry and one pecan

11 gathered for dinner this week (7 adults; 4 kids).

For the sausages I first baked them until they were cooked through (160°F on a probe thermometer). I then fired up the grill out back to get a bit of color on the very pale links.
