Ted’s Birthday Bash 2014

Yesterday, friends and family gathered to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I simplified the menu a bit more this year and relied a bit more than usual on store bought items.

Notes
There were ~25 guests for the party with it split 3/4 adults and 1/4 kids.

Ted set-up a little Gin and Tonic bar with Valencia orange wedges as garnish. They were well received.

I foolishly forgot to put the baked beans out on the table when the burgers and dogs were ready. We have a far bit left over. I wonder if they freeze well?

The corn, tomato and avocado salad was a hit, as was the radish slaw.

The brown sugar cookies w/chocolate chunks and the peanut butter and jelly bars received praise. Only about half of the blueberry cupcakes were eaten; I guess cupcakes are over.
