This was the first Saturday night at our place for 2015 so I went with a fairly easy menu. I’m happy with how everything turned out. I even remembered to add the parsley to the fennel salad.
Giant Cranberry Cookie
13 gathered for dinner this week (9 adults; 4 kids).
A couple of our friends were recovering from dental work so there’s an emphasis on softer foods. I might have roasted the carrots, for example, however that leaves lovely crispy bits which are no fun in a sour mouth.
The jello was by request. It’s not something we normmally make. Jiggly sugar water the color of smurfs; what’s not to like.
