It’s been an odd fall, with temperatures some 20-30° higher than normal. Only in the last week have we had a stretch of days where it felt cold outside. This week we turn to the power of soup to warm us.

8 gathered for dinner this week (7 adults; 2 kids).
Since our vegetarian friend let me know they couldn’t join us tonight I was able to incorporate the chorizo into the soup rather than serving it on the side. It adds a layer of flavor that is difficult to duplicate.
